Is Tubely a scam site?

Is the swipeitup.com site just a scam? this auction idea is sooo cool and compelling it must be a scam right?

  • i found this auction site called swipeitup. it cost EACH bidder $0.50 EACH time they bid on an item. these items are brand new. when the time runs almost out and someone bids, it knocks the time back up to about 20 seconds. In the end a winner may win that $1000 laptop for 50 bucks. the selling site potentially may have made 3 times that from the bidding fees as a profit. This idea is soooo cool and genius that it makes me feel it is too good to be true to win a nintendo wii for 5 bucks. IS THIS SITE A SCAM TO GET YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION? Do they really send the products you win hassle free?People like me want to know before registering for an account.

  • Answer:

Your site isn't listed on WOT or McAfee site advisor. For future reference, download this add-on (it works with IE and Firefox), it will tell you if a site is trustworthy or not by labeling it red or green. http://www.mywot.com/

Check out Dubli.... http://us.dubli.com/7721948 They are world wide, or nearly so, and use a very similar method of bidding that you are describing. This reverse auction method of selling is really gaining in popularity. I assure you that Dubli is not a scam.
