How do you reset your user account security permissions to the defaults in Windows 7?
-
I've really messed up the security permissions ( http://www.pcguru.plus.com/windows7/security.gif ) of a whole bunch of different locations. How do you restore these to the defaults in Windows 7 Home Premium?

Answer:
You can go to on the Knowledge Base ... http://support.microsoft.com/kb/313222 :) This article is for windows vista but it works also for windows 7. Just run in a evaluated prompt the following command. secedit /configure /cfg %windir%\inf\defltbase.inf /db defltbase.sdb /verbose
