Why are we getting Amber Alerts over and over?

Why do I keep getting security alerts?

• I downloaded Spybot Search and Destroy and Adaware SE Personal and scanned with them along with the Anti Spy on Yahoo toolbar and Norton AV. Deleted the detected items and I still get the same things happening after awhile. Whenever a Security Alert shows and I click on its icon in the bottom right corner of my window it takes me to an AV site i.e. Antivirusgolden.com. One of the things happening is the homepage that I chose for IE is back to the default setting, but my system doesn't seem to be slower than usual and one of the system alerts says it is and occassionally a popup appears even when I'm not online. I am stumped on what I shoul;d do next other than reinstall everything. Any help is greatly appreciated.
