HELP HELP HELP - need to change administrator password on guest account without knowing the password?

Like i said i need to change administrator password on guest account without knowing the password, it is desperate!!!! tried everything - i am on windows vista and no - i am not going against parents or anything - i just went on my laptop one day and the password stopped working!!!! i have tried all of my past passwords aswell and they wont work!!!! i only have two acccounts - one admin which i cant access and 1 regular account which i am having to use at the moment !!! i need to get onto the admin account!!!!!!! please help ASAP!!!

Just DIY a reset CD, and your problem will be solved, 1. Log onto a second computer linked to Internet. 2. Login http://www.passwordunlocker.com and free download windows password unlocker (you can also login to other related sites for other reset tool, and windows password unlocker is a popular selection). Note that there is a .ISO file included. 3. Burn the .ISO file onto a blank CD.you already have such as Nero, Sonic, Roxio etc. If you need burning software we provide one of the best solutions on the market called BurnCDCC. which is free supported on passwordunlocker.com. 4.Insert the newly created CD into locked computer, and reboot from CD drive, and then just follow the process of instruction. A few steps later, admin password would be cleared

If you're using an admin account to change the password, you should be able to change it, no matter the status of the other account. But, if you're using a standard account, you have to know the password to change it. Look up on Google to find out if there's any password scanners that may find it for you. Also, scan your computer for a virus. It may have locked you out of your account.

I hate to say it, but you cant do it. :/ It's to do with security and ****.. on admi accounts, you can do/change anything.. you dont have that same accesibility on guest accounts. Lol.. I ****** up a computer that way. Beware: you might have to f-disk it. Unless you're VERY knowledgable and practised with this type of thing, I highly recommend you get an expert to do it. You're best call is to go to a computer shop, they'll know what's best.

Check for a virus on your computer. I do some tech support for my company; one day, my boss' password stopped working. I ran malwarebytes (available on CNET downloads for free). Sure enough, it picked up 2 items. Once they were deleted, her password worked again. Her email was trying to protect itself from being hacked.
