Is Peer Guardian compatible with Vista yet?

Is Peer Guardian 2 really safe,secure and efficient?

• Q1) Since Peer Guardian 2 is developed thru open source,could hackers use it to explore its weakness and compromise our system? Q2) It protect @ kernel level,is it even more dangerous if some1 manage to hack its code and meddle with our O.S kernel? Q3)What other ways to stop officials/spyware from spying on us if we are using torrent or other downloading stuff?

  1) no they could not. 2) your way off base because you don't have a clue what peerguardian is and does...sorry. 3) peerguardian doesn't stop spyware. it blocks known companies from connecting to your computer, who will gather information about uploading or downloading files on a P2P network. i think you need to go learn exactly what peerguardian is and does. whatever information you have or gotten is incorrect. http://phoenixlabs.org/pg2 as for open source i suggest visit http://sourceforge.net you'd be suprised of how many things you have installed that are open source. opensource just means that another person may use and or alter the code and compile it. now where you download programs depends if that person isn't upstanding hasn't violated the program and is ditributing it. rule of thumb always download any program you want from its home site.
