Securing Documents and Folders in Windows Vista?
-
I have a HP Laptop with Windows Vista Home Premium on it. My parents and sister are also using it, and my parents didn't want me to make a seperate user account for them, so they have been using mine. I am worried and don't want them snooping into my files and documents. Is there a way that I can put a password lock on specific files and folders to keep them from opening them? I don't want to use encryption, because then they will think that i have stuff on the computer that I shouldn't. Thanks for helping...

Answer:
With Vista the only way you can do it is with a 3rd party software. If you do decide to go with a 3rd party, this one is free. http://www.truecrypt.org/
