How do I get my email address taken off of spammers' lists?

  • Answer:

    Some e-mail services let you add spam to a spam folder which gets returned to the sender saying somthing along the lines of "This address was not valid" that is the best way to get removed from the list. if you mail them back saying you would not like to recieve their e-mail it will just tell them that the address works and you will only get alot more e-mail from them.

A lot of the time you can't... often the best thing you can do is block the addresses that are sending you spam

Just set you inbox to automatically ignore or trash the spam. Trying to get the spammer to remove your name is pointless and just lets them know your email address is still valid.

sometimes they have an email address that you can send them a message to saying to delete you. If not tell them your going to sue them for harrassment or something.

Set your email address as an acceptable address and not a spam.

never reply to spammers "take me off this list" addresses as this just makes your address more saleable to other spammers
