Where can I find more help for yahoo messenger?

Where can i find my firewall.its keeping me from downloading yahoo messenger..please help?

    Control Panel can show you an icon for your firewall, if you are using Service Packs and are using the windows firewall. But if you are running internet security software like Norton, McAfee, SystemSuite, you can click on the icon on the botom left corner of the screen to open a menu that gives you the option to disable firewall. My advice is not to disable it, but lower security settings just enough to download messenger so that your computer has some protection. Good luck!

In Windows XP: go to START then CONTROL PANEL then NETWORK AND INTERNET CONNECTIONS on the bottom click NETWORK CONNECTIONS. [right click] on the connection that is "blue" or that u are using. click PROPERTIES...on the tabs click on ADVANCED then on SETTINGS... this should open up a window that lets you enable and disable your firewall.
