How can I get the Microsoft updates that downloaded but didn't install off my hard disk drive?
-
There are 2 updates that have downloaded over 95 times on my computer. I didn't know there was a problem with them and I had Automatic Updates on. I've turned it off but these updates are taking up space on my hard drive. How can I safely remove them?
-
Answer:
Get CCleaner from Piriform and run the cleaner and registry clean up. Default settings are safe. Updates are still temporary files until they are installed. If they get deleted Microsoft will just download new ones later. If you do have the Auto turned off make sure you keep your machine updated.
