  • i, have a lot of anti spyware and anti virus programs. i run them and let them scan my computer twice a day, and each time the find about 7 infected files together! how can i stop this? and where do the infected files come from?

  • Answer:

Viruses and other malware come from a variety of places. 1. Not having the proper updates installed allows worms to essentially hack your computer and install itself. 2. Opening unknown attachments 3. Visiting sites that use known vulnerabilities in windows to install software without your permission. 4. Mistakenly installing software from websites thinking they are beneficial. 5. Installing free software without reading the end user license agreement and thus not knowing they are also install spyware/adware on your computer as well. If its the same spyware that you discover everytime you scan your PC, maybe the definitions is not updated. Try to update your antivirus and antispyware. These things came from desperate people attached in unsecured websites. Virus are ceated by people by different reasons. one of them is prestige of having an uncurable virus. some of them even more - create mobney by having the only cure to that virus. Get it? Spyware is an advertisement in desperation. but some are just a decoy - its a SPY software gaining information about all trasactions including credit card info and IP address.
