Can't view hidden files in Windows XP?
-
In folder options I checked "show hidden files and folders" and I disabled "hide protected operating system files". My virus scanner says there's a virus at C:\windows\system32\35837\, but when I look in that folder nothing is there. How do I get Windows to show the files in this folder?

Answer:
Try to check box next to "Display the contents of system folders"
