What's the whole deal with those forwarded messages that you are suppose to forward it to someone else?
-
PLEASE, THIS IS IMPORTANT.... I have received a lot of messages, including from Yahoo, saying that I will be charged ("listen to this stupidity") $10 for each messages that I receive or send, or something like that, I didn't forward it. I didn't believe it by the way. Why would Yahoo do that. It's free. I know workers from Yahoo are reading this, please, do something about it.......And it's not just from Yahoo, there are a lot of messages, talking about wishes coming true, and if you don't forward it, you could possibly die. I think that's ilegal, what about you? There should be a purpose for that, like stealing your e-mail, your name.... We should do something about that. I have already started with this question. What do you think about it?

Answer:
Its all spam. Some of it is potentially bad--if the emails give you a link to click in order to pay your $10 it can be a link to a site there just to get your credit card number or it may download a keystroke monitor onto your computer. Don't ever click on links on spam. The other part of it is that this is the electronic version of chain letters--send this to 10 people and you'll come into money. They are probably illegal, but I don't know who to report it to. Just delete it. If you have a spam filter add them to your spam filter. Tell your friends not to forward spam to you.

It's spam (i haven't gotton any messages from yahoo like that) and hoaxes that people do too scare other people because... I really don't know why. Because they can! The wishes coming true stuff should be from your friends, and that's for fun, so you should talk to them about it.
