How do I save/transfer old Yahoo email to my computer?

How did my computer become infected.....I only use my Yahoo email address for Q&A?

  • Bomgar removed 176 infections from my computer this morning. (my computer was very slow and freezing up). I don't surf on this computer. I only use it for info off the AT&T Homepage and my Yahoo inbox. I asked the technician if answering a question or email from a Yahoo member (I receive no outside email on this PC). could a member be spreading this mal ware...and he said "Its possible".I use no other email address on this particular PC.

    I have just gone through and am still experiencing problems with my computer that is only a year old - my usb ports quit working - 2 at once - now seem to be working again. Long story but something strange is going on.

If Bomgar was detecting tracking cookies as I suspect it was...just ignore it. Cookies are just small .txt (text) files that cannot hurt your computer. Cookies are "set" by almost EVERY web-site that you visit, on every visit. Cookies do NOT slow down a computer, at least the first million or so that you might have on your computer!
