Any websites with many animated photos (gif format?

Is what I'm going through is Normal ? ?

  • my strory is long I'll try to sum it up , I have a constant feeling that my computer is infected by a virus and that makes my life misrable . for years I have been a fan of this athlete , I won't mention her name , and it has and always been my only hobby to collect her photos and videos , my admiration for her grew bigger and bigger with the days and years and it also positively changed my life and made me able to get rid of bad habbits that I had . what happened is that I became obssesed with computer security becuase i didn't want anything to infect my most cherished photos of her , I have bought an anti virus to protect it , then gradually stopped going to other website or downloading any softwares , then I have stopped going to any other websites or checking my e-mail becuase I don't want to be infected with something and then eventually I got in to this eries of Formatting-reinstalling windows and starting from scratch !!! no matter how many times I scan my PC I still feel infected and the result is always clean I would Format my PC and reinstall windows and update the AV and go to only ONE website and download the photos then disconnect from the internet then I would run a full scan to my PV and turn out clean then I'd copy those photos to a CD , and still I feel like there is something wrong with the photos or they are infected so I repeat this process all over again !!! I have like 8 CD's for the same set of photos and still i feel like they are infected ! and every new photos posted this happen and I have to go through this whole Formatting and reinstalling windows and start from scratch all over again . I visit only one website from where i can get her photos and I run virus scans with an updated anti-virus and it always clean I even tested the AV and it is working and despite from all that I'm still scared and still feel infected whats should I de , please help :(

    NO it's not normal......turn OFF your computer, unplug and put it back the box.

this is very messed up. you are OBSESSED with that girl and i bet she would be really freaked out is she ever knew what you were doing. you are also paranoid with your computer. this isn't normal dude. go to a therapist.

Ok, I'm not being mean and please don't take this the wrong way but I think you are suffering from obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD). You need to go to your GP and tell him/her exactly what you have said on here, no matter how embarrassed you may feel. It's quite a common problem, more so than many people think. The best thing of all though is it can be treated with therapy (I wouldn't advise drugs) like behavioral therapy or counselling. It is so important you sort this asap as it'll only get worse and you may become obsessed with other things too.
