Does anyone have any how to look older tips for black women?

• I read some posts on here about how to look older , and everyone is saying cut your hair or wear a bob . I love my hair , its naturally long , which is different from most other black women , so I dont want to cut it . Even if I wear it down , some people still think Iam young . I will be 21 next month , and Iam 5'1 100 - 101 pounds . Most people think Iam 15 , I want to at least look 19 or 20 .My boyfriend says he likes me for who Iam ,and he looks young too , but he's really tall , so I think that helps him . I really dont want to look older for beauty sake , but I want to look older so that I can get a job . I feel like I didnt get called back after interviews for a job , because of how I look . Iam really smart and hardworking , and I want employers to take off their lenses and look at the real me . Iam going to college right now , working real hard to get my degree , and I dont want all my hard work and brains to go to waste because of how I look . I really need things that a black woman can do to look older , because we wear our hair differently than white women . I

  You can look older by changing your wardrobe. When I was 16 I pretended to be my friend's mother so she could get her ears pierced. All I did was wear my mother's coat. Noone my age would ever wear a coat like that, so they judged me immediately from my outfit and didn't take notice of my face. Get rid of clothing with large writing and cartoon characters on them. Dress more like people older than you, more like the people that are interviewing you.
