After shaving my legs in shower, bath, sitting on tub, you name it; my legs itch really bad. Help me please!!
-
I have used disposable razors, the expensive ones, soap, shave gel, exfoliating, shave before shower after showering. I have put lotion on after shaving and it makes the itch turn into pain and I get bad rashes; I have used cocoa butter, aloe vera, scent-less and oil but nothing works. I am trying to get into modeling but it is hard when my legs look as if I sat in a bed of ants covered with honey. Is waxing a better choice? Does anyone else have this same issue? Some one please help. :(

Answer:
After you shave & dry your legs, try using Lanocane lotion. Your legs are maybe too dry from such a close shave. It'll take the itching away immediately. Try this before you go to waxing. It's brutal!

waxing would be a good idea for you...i thnk you should try a good shaving cream......i have some itching too but it is not as bad...i thnk you shoud try not shaving so closely because when i shave really close to my skin that is when the damage occurs....maybe you shoudl also try after shave...there are some made by skintimate that releive itch....

Try bleaching. If yuo have thin hair on your legs, it's not worth it to shave. Bleaching might work and it makes the hair thinner. Also consider electrolosis.

i always shave without anything. just while im in the shower i shave with just the water pouring on my legs. once i (stupidly) shaved without anything only i poured water on after i shaved to take all the hairs off. then i put lotion on and it felt like my legs were on fire. im not sure the reason for you, but hopefully this will help. ?

I don't think that putting lotion on after shaving is a good idea for you. Now, sometimes I have made sure to rewash my legs with soap after shaving (instead of just rinsing them with water). This gets off the shaving cream residue. It may very well be a sensitivity. Have you tried Cetaphil soap? It is for highly sensitive skin. You can certainly try waxing. It can be painful. Also try a different razors. You may be allergic to the lotion strip. Also the answer on maybe not shaving so hard against the skin may help. It sounds like you have tried many avenues. If all else fails, go to a dermatologist.
