How do I make my fingernails grow faster and longer?

  • My nails are pretty short and I can't help biting them. they are also really weak...how can i get them to grow longer, stronger, and faster?

    drink lots of water, take vitamins, eat more veggies and keep at the very least a coat of clear nail polish on them at all time. you can also try only filing them instead of using a clippers, but NOT with a metal file.

I've heard that tapping your fingernails on a hard surface like a desk helps them grow faster. I have that habit and I think it might just be true 'cause I find my nails grow pretty fast. The problem is that they're too fragile and weak, they end up breaking after they grow a certain length.

use some nail polish with green tea in it. i do. it helped my nails grow long. i use to bit my nails all the time.

get a good manicurist to help you get them in shape .... Sally Hansen "Teflon Tuff" is a pretty good product .... BUT .... you gotta stop biting them !!

Keep them polished, even if it is just clear while they are shortest. The polish keeps them strong and the look nicer so you will take more pride in them and not bite anymore. People will also notice and compliment you.
