Heeyyy. So here is my advice for your healthy back to school lifestyle: Hair: You should try finding the right shampoo/conditioner for your hair. I use Head and Shoulders shampoo and aveeno nourish and moisture conditioner. I love it because my scalp tends to get dry and my long hair also tends to frizz and needs nourishment. I've also tried Pantene in the past and they're really good too. You should also look into hair masks if u want to pamper your hair every now and then. When you go to your hair salon, or lush, or any beauty store, try asking someone about hair masks and you might fall in love with them. I occasionally use the Moroccan oil hair mask. To keep my hair healthy, I also put the Moroccan oil in my hair when it is damp when i get out of the shower. I simply take a tiny pit on my fingers, put it all over my hand and apply then to the tips of my hair. Exercise and Stretching: I'm not big on exercising to be honest, but try doing like 10-15 situps every morning and gradually adding 5 more to your routine. You can also try going on a run when it's nice out :) Snacks for School: My snacks for school generally consist of a fruit. I love raspberries, blackberries, green grapes.... so i try and have fruits in my diet everyday. I also usually take a healthy granola bar with me for some fibre. Avocado on tricuit is extremely yummy too. I haven't tried taking it to school yet but i might have to put some avocado between two triscuit crackers. ALWAYS HAVE WATER. I never realized how important water was until i was completely dehydrated and unhealthy after a long week of school. I know this really isn't a "snack" but it's really important to have with you at school. Studying Tips: To be able to be successful you always need to stay organized!!! As you progress through the course you've taken, whether it is science, or math, or music, you need to be extremely organized with binders, dividers, and an agenda that you use and update on a daily basis. I used to write all my homework in my agenda and at the end of the day, i would take a highlighter and put a dot next to the things that i have accomplished and finished and a squiggly line next to the things that are ongoing such as studying for an upcoming test, or an ongoing project. You also need to keep a calendar around to keep track of what's coming and when. This will help you decide on which subjects need more of your attention for that particular week or day. Try putting a big calendar in your room. With regards to studying for tests itself, it all depends on which method and approach you prefer. Studying is really a personal thing at the end of the day. Personally, I prefer making notes and highlighting key words as i re-read them. For exams I might even decide to type up my notes. As i type I am saying the sentence in my head and seeing it as it appears on the page. Some of my friends prepare short notes on cue cards. Ex. they put a definition on the back and the word on the front. Some people prefer studying in groups and I even know some people who just re-read the textbook and look at their past homework. I hope you find your method! It takes time but you'll get there :) As for the nails, I too was a nail bitter. It took me forever to stop and my family tried everything. We tried putting chilli pepper on my nails, we tried putting lemons on them everything to stop me from biting. In the end, i finally stopped in a rather odd way. I started by putting clear nail polish on my nails, this prevented me from biting them as the polish texture would well be disgusting! LOL but then i slowly started a nail polish collection of my own. I have so many pinks and crackles! and i even began watching a ton of youtube tutorials! (cutepolish is my favourite right now, you should check her channel out!) I feel like im a nail polish addict nowww :P ahaa well that was a joke but it really works. It did for me and now i have a pastime and something fun to do with friends every now and then. You could also try getting acrylic nails if it is super difficult for you to stop. They're a bit pain to take off, and take time to heal, but that might also help you stop biting. Ohh and to make them grow faster you should eat healthy foods. Try and file them nicely to prevent chipping and gently push your cuticles back. :) Sorry this was soo long and I really hope this helped. Gooood luck with everything :)

Hair: You can mix water in a spray bottle with a handfull of salt and spray your hair after a shower in the morning. You get beach waves and it's supposed to look a little crazy and you won't have frizz. You can braid it into a side ponytail for a cute quick look or throw a headband in. I use this brand called Samy hair salon stuff...i buy it at Walmart.:3 hahaha.(: Excercise: Watch yoga videos on youtube or get a subscription to SevenTeen Magazine. They have great excercise moves in there. But for now here are a few moves.. http://www.seventeen.com/health/tips/harley-pasternak-workout-videos Snacks: FRUIT FRUIT and uhmmm more FRUIT.!Hahaha.(: Cover some strawberries in sugar then freeze them before school, so after they are tasy and frozen. Or eat ssome pudding. Or Make some pizza bagels.. Study Tips: After school when you get home. Hang out with friend's for an hour or watch tv or take a nap. You just came from doing 8 hours of school work so put your mind to rest, let it refresh.! Now that you have a fresh mind, your brain can remember better and think better. Eating while studying is good too, so when you get stressed you take your frustrations out on the food. Make sure the TV is off.!And it's probably best to study in your dining room or kitchen. Make sure your cell is off and keep anyone away from you, like an annoying sibling tthat talks to much. You can have some music on but keep it low not blasting. Also, do NOT be afraid to ask for help. You'd be surprised at what your parents can help you with.(: Nails: Always have them polished prettyily so you don't wanna mess them up. You can cover them in hard as nails nail polish so it won't be easy to bite off. And if you push your cuticles back and keep your nails well groomed they'll grow. Try drops of lemon juice on your nails so when you bite it, it tastes bad. And cheew gum so your mouth is busy choosing something else.
