Is John Casablanca a scam?

  • Well. I did the online audtion for John Casablanca and im not so sure any more. I mean it was *online. Doesnt it need to be specific heights and weights? Please tell me so that me and my parents dont get scammed!!! Should i keep searching? If so please give me links to ACTUAL modeling agencies not some B.S. scamming crap. I want to tell my parents if its a scam or not, i dont want them to spend hundreds on fake stuff. Please help, leave links in you answer on real agencies, tell me if its a scam or not, and maybe give me a little bit of advise for modeling. THANK YOU SOOOOOOOO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    John Casablanca, John Robert Powers & Barbizon are all modelling schools and not agencies. Their remit is to make money for themselves, not to make models. They are a waste of time and money. No genuine agency auditions online - ever. They do face to face interviews at their offices. Pick up on the advice I gave on another question. With any company just google the company name + scam. If you find more than a few hits, them it's usually a scam A real agency will NEVER ask you to pay them money for classes, registration, portfolio shoots, etc. a real agency makes money AFTER they book you on a job Nobody can give real agencies without knowing where you live as agencies won't even look at you unless you live less than 100 miles from their office. I could list good agencies in LA or NY but that won't do you any good if you live in Chicago or Dallas or Miami
