What exactly do I need to do to become a petite model?

• Hello, I'm in search of a talent agent/agency, and I would like to know how I could start a career in the entertainment industry.How exactly do I find an agent and become discovered by a talent manager or an actual "legit" talent scout in New York? I'm mainly interested in petite modeling and singing.(Btw I'm 5'2-5'3 and a size 3/4) Where exactly do I begin? What pointers do I need to know about petite modeling, as well as the requirements? ( I know it's going to be quite difficult with petite modeling versus taller women, but that's okay I love a challenge) I know that I might need a couple of headshots and a resume though. But how do I really become a model since I'm kind of a newbie to this.. And this is my aspiration and dream. I've cleared up 80% of my acne though. (We all have to start somewhere though) What exactly do I really need to do, from the beginning and what would I need? What are some known "legit" companies and places that I can model for? (Like Seventeen Magazine, Covergirl, Cosmopolitian etc) Serious answers only, Please offer me some valuable advice. Thank you kindly :)
