What are some cool preteen magazines for girls?

How to make myself look beautiful (like the girls in magazines)?

  • NOTE: ABSOLUTELY NO COMMENTS REGARDING PHOTO SHOP, NUTRITIONISTS, PERSONAL TRAINERS, AIRBRUSHING, MAKE UP, OR SAYING THAT THEY ARE PAID TO BE BEAUTIFUL (THEY ARE NOT), OR THAT EVERYONE IS BEAUTIFUL, ETC. IF YOU LEAVE ANY COMMENTS REGARDING THAT I WILL EMAIL YOU PERSONALLY AND TELL YOU TO DELETE OR CHANGE YOUR ANSWER, THANK YOU! Hello everyone, about a year ago I made a commitment to myself that I would look like a Victoria Secret model or a Abercrombie/Gilly Hicks model and that I would look like the girls in the magazines or tv because to me their bodies and looks are perfect. I already have a good diet and fitness routine but now I need the looks. I need to know how to make myself look beautiful and that is why I need your help. Here are my problems regarding my looks: SKIN: I do not have tons of acne or anything but I do have a little, I need to know what products to use? Also, I need to know what routine to use? Also, I need to have baby smooth skin like the girls in the magazines. I need to know what type of lotion I need for that? The last thing I need to know is a good self tanner? I need to be tan because all of the VS models are kinda tan. I need to have flawless skin. Teeth: I do not have yellow or crocked teeth but I would like them to be extremely straight and pearly white, help me achieve that. I am going to convince my parents to buy me invisalign. I also will try to convince them to buy me whitening strips. Any other other advice on flawless teeth? Hair: I want to have hair like Candice or Lindsay even though, I am a brunette, lol. I have frizzy, dry, and damaged hair. I need a good routine and products to fix my hair? I also have really curly hair but I hate it. Do you guys have any other tips? How about clothes and make up? I do not use make up but I will start to if I need to. PLEASE DO NOT TELL ME TO BE HAPPY WITH MYSELF BECAUSE THIS IS MY DREAM TO BE BEAUTIFUL, THIS IS WHAT WILL MAKE ME HAPPY, I ONLY NEED HELP ON MY LOOKS, SO PLEASE NO COMMENTS REGARDING SELF ESTEEM OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT BECAUSE I DID NOT ASK FOR THAT. PLEASE DO NOT DISCOURAGE ME!

For my facial skin everyday use, I use Clearasil Ultimate. It has 3 steps and use it every morning and night. The first step gets rid of any dirt or oil, (also helps with enlarged pores) the second steps is a toner, and the third step is lotion to prevent more acne to come again. Their is also a fourth little travel bottle that is 4-hour removing acne. It reduces size of any type of acne and can make it go away. It works wonders my face is flawless! For body skin, I use Vaseline (body lotion) all over my legs and arms. It really makes your skin soft and smooth.Do not use self tanner! You could turn orange, try natural tanning if it is warm enough. Or go to a tanning booth. (Not recommended) . Teeth, try brushing them with baking soda every day for two weeks. That will achieve the pearly white so you don't need to use harmful whitening strips. Also use mouth wash to make bad breath go away. Hair: I always wash my hair every TWO days. If you wash your hair every day, natural oils wash away and you won't have as soft hair. I use Pantene Pro V in smooth. If you straighten or curl your hair, use heat protectant. And I do not normally have frizzy dry hair but my mother does, and she uses leave in conditionar and anti-frizz serum. Maybe get high-lights? Either curl or straighten your hair every day. As for makeup, depending on your age use a smokey eye effect or just neautral everyday. If you are old enough use eyeliner and foundation. Just make sure to wash your foundation and eyeshadow brushes every day! As those could leave you more ance!

Difficult to answer with so many stipulations. But like most things, money is the answer to teeth and hair. I NEED to mention Photoshop because you are talking about magazines. The two go hand in hand. I work in the photomanipulation industry, I have had lots of stuff published in magazines. I can garantee you that every photo printed in every magazine in the last fifteen years has been processed through photoshop. It is impossible to achieve skin like models in magazines. I do talk from experience, I have been on various photoshoots of professional models for album covers and magazines. None of them, not one of them had flawless skin. Quite often infact they had some kind of blemish that was obvious but it was agreed that.. "oh, we'll get rid fo that later". Flawless skin does not exist. It is an external organ that is exposed to everyday weathering. It is the first thing that EVERYTHING in the world comes into contact with. It reflects your diet also. You should not strive for magazine skin, just eat healthy and exercise.. .and do not sun bathe. I know you asked not to mention photoshop, but it IS what magazines are made of.

For the skin, use St. Ives. I use it, and my skin is so clear and smooth! Use a moisturizer, that usually helps too. For the teeth, use whitening strips. For the hair, you should cut atleast the tips and stop straightning / curling you hair. Use good shampoo and conditioner. And buy a heat protecting spray for when you really want to burn your hair. Honestly, you can try your hardest to be beautiful like them, but that's impossible because they wear makeup and Photoshop. i know you didn't want to hear that, but it's the truth.

Hello! I would say beauty is in the eye of the beholder but obviously you are not happy with the way you look. Skin: I am not an expert on acne as I have never had it before but what I am about to type may not work for your skin as everybody's skin reacts differently. This is my skin routine which I do every morning. When I wake up, I clean my face. I start off by putting water on my face just to wash off anything that has affected my face in the night. I then put some soap onto a CLEAN flannel and just go over it, then wash it off with warm water. I don't use any special face cleanser for this as using dove soap and water works fine! The products I use at the moment are Clean&Clear Deep Cleansing Lotion for sensitive skin or Blackhead Clearing Cleanser that is oil free! I use one of the two but the one that I use most is the blackhead cleansing! I just simply put it on some cotton wool or a clean flannel and wipe it all over my face. That is my morning routine! My night one is the one I do in the shower! The brand I use is Soap and Glory! I absolutely love this brand! It smells amazing as well and you just feel amazing! I start off with the Flake Away one and just rub that all over my face. After rubbing it in, I leave it for a few minutes. I wash it off with warm water. I then put on the Breakfast Scrub! It smells amazing! You just want to eat it! I follow the same process I did with the Flake Away. I finally follow with Soap&Clarity! I do the same process. Soap and Glory can be a little bit pricey though but their products are the best I've ever used. That is my skin routine! Teeth: With your teeth, I would see your dentist! They could give you a retainer or something. I brush my teeth with Colgate Enamel Repair! I don't have the best teeth but I find this really works and it also helps if you have a tooth ache or anything. So I suggest seeing your dentist about getting flawless teeth! Hair: My hair use to be so DRY and lacked moisture so bad but then I started using VO5. I am like in love with their products! When I am in the bath/shower, I put on the hot oil and it gives your hair a lot of moisture! I wash that out after a bit and I follow with VO5 dry hair give me moisture shampoo and conditioner. I use to use Vosene just because it was best for my hair but it started getting dry and since I've been using this, it really helps! I get lots of compliments on my hair! When I dry my hair, I make sure there isn't lots of water left in it because it drys my hair out also! Before I blow dry it, but sometimes I let it dry naturally, I ALWAYS use a heat protector. I use about 2-3 squirts, and if I straighten it, which is very rarely, I do one squirt. Then I use a serum and it makes my hair look healthy and shiny but not greasy! I have straight hair but you can straighten your hair if you really hate having curly hair but always make sure you use a heat protector! I'd go see your hair salon and ask them what's best for hair like yours! Never dye your hair with the hair dye you can buy from the shops! I've done this like 7 times now and I'm just 13.. :L It made my hair look horrible and I am now in the process of getting it stripped back! I think highlights can look good! I'd drink plenty of water because this flushed all the bad things away! Stay away from greasy food because it will make you break out in pimples! I watch a lot of beauty gurus on Youtube and trust me, they help! Try and eat healthy as much as you can! Set yourself a realistic goal of how you would like to look by a certain date! But the process of this could cost a lot of money and some of it might not even work! I'd ask around at places like dentist, hair salons, beauty shops! I hope I have helped and good luck!:)
