How to maintain fresh and radiant skin all day?

Want to know how to get clear skin?

  • Over the years I've learned plenty of tips & tricks to get & maintain clear skin. I've got some free time on my hands, so I figured that I would share what I have learned with you, so you might be able to have the skin you've always dreamed of. I really hope that you'll take the time to read this, because I hope it might be able to help you or someone you know. #1: Wash your face 2 times per day...and only 2 times per day. (morning & evening) Not washing your face often enough can cause too much dirt to build up, causing breakouts. Washing your face too often can cause your skin to become irritated, which can also lead to breakouts. Therefore, 2 times a day is the best choice for washing your face. #2: Change your pillowcase every 3-4 days. When you sleep, oil form your face goes onto your pillowcase. Sleeping on the same pillowcase for a long time transfers old oil back onto your face, causing breakouts. Changing your pillowcase every 3-4 days will be a quick fix for this problem. #3: Avoid white bread. White bread is a refined carb and it causes insulin levels to rise. When insulin levels rise the production of oils on your face increases, causing breakouts. So avoid white bread, only eating it sparingly. #4: Try your best to avoid sugary foods. Sugar is obviously not going to help your skin, especially soda. I highly suggest you stop all soda intake, because it is so high in sugar. I stopped drinking soda over a year ago due to a New Years Resolution, and I haven't craved it since. Switch to water, which will hydrate your skin. Also try to avoid energy drinks and vitamin waters as they pack a suprising amount of sugar. Now, as for other sugary foods, I am not saying to stop eating them completely, just cut down your intake of them. #5: Wash your hands before you touch your face. Try your best not yo rest your chin on your hand, or touch your fash without washing your hands. Bacteria & dirt from your hands can be transfered from your hands onto your face, causing breakouts. It is best to wash your hands before you touch your face. #6: Exfoliate your skin. Exfoliating your skin will help to remove the dead skin cells. When dead skin cells build up on your skin, they can possibly clog pores, causing breakouts. Aim to exfoliate 2 times a week with an exfoliating wipe or pad that you can get at your local grocery store. Don't exfoliate too much, that can cause skin to become irritated. #7: As always- eat plenty of fruits & veggies. When you are healthy on the inside, it shows on the outside. Eat foods that are beneficial to you, and your skin should benefit form then, too. #8: Try not to use hair products around your hairline. Spraying hairspray or using conditioner too close to your hairline can cause breakouts on the forehead or along the hairline. Avoiding the use of hair prodcuts along the hairline is a good idea to help prevent breakouts in that area. Just use conditioner on the bottom half of your hair, and try to only spray hairspray on the bottom half of the hair. If you need to spray hairspray on your bangs or near your hairline, make sure you cover your face with your hands first (don't forget to wash your hands before you touch your face!). #9: Avoid greasy foods. French fries. Cheeseburgers. Fried Chicken. Pizza. All of these American classics are considered greasy foods. Greasy foods don't help breakouts at all. Try to avoid these the best that you can. Or, if you are eating pizza, try to blot the excess grease off to reduce the amount of grease you are eating. #10: Take a multivitamin. Vitamins are great for your skin. They provide your skin with essential nutrients to help stay healthy. Taking a multivitamin will help your skin stay healthy and gorgeous. I hope I've been able to help some of you! Feel free to tell me what you think of my tips! :)

Thanks--but another great one to add is drinking lots of water. Just more. Always keep a water bottle with you. I tried it for just a week and it made my skin glow and blemishes were kinda starting to go away and pimples came but were really small----but that is what all of the other stuff is for.
