Any Good Moderate Acne Solutions?

Clinique Acne Solutions Foundation vs Covergirl Trublend Foundation?

  • I'm having a hard time finding any information online on comparrisons, so hoping someone out there can help. I currently use Covergirl Trublend Foundation since it's a lot cheaper than Clinique. Even though I like Covergirl, I feel as if I might need something to help prevent acne, yet long lasting. After some research, I came up with Clinique Acne Solutions. The price tag is pretty hefty ($35 per bottle) so I was hoping to see if there's anyone who's tried both and has some insight on if the Clinique is actually worth the extra money. I have oily skin, and adult acne, never really had any acne issues until I was an adult. I finally have a routine down that seems to calm my acne, but I still will randomly get some here and there, which is the reason I want something acne based in my foundation.

  • Answer:

I loved the Clinique Acne Solutions but I haven't re-purchased because I have found better coverage from makeup forever. I did like it and I do recommend that you pick it up! I'd suggest that you continue with your current regimen and when you need to use the clinique for a few days when you're having acne issues go ahead and use it and if the covergirl isn't breaking you out use that when your skin is clear. This will save you some money. I do think it would be worth it to purchase the clinique and solely using it but thats all up to you.
