Question about selling Avon?

How different is selling Mark. from Selling Avon?

• I used to be an Avon rep almost a year ago and now I'm interested in just selling Mark. I was wondering how the Mark. program works. One thing I hated about selling Avon was how you had to place an order (nearly) every campaign. Does Mark. enforce that too? I'm really just interested in selling this casually and of course getting the great discount. So any anyone tell me how the program differs? Thanks.

  When you sign up they take your credit card number to charge you for the $20 start up fee which includes starting up obviously and the kit they send you to help get you started. The kit is a $60 value with a bunch of their products for you to use yourself or as samples if you want. The only other things you pay for through out your mark. career is the magalogs that you hand out which are $1.10 for a pack of 5 and any samples you want to get. Of course they want you to place orders, but there are no minimums or maximums to how many orders you place, so you don't need t worry about turning one in every 2 weeks like with Avon. You do not have to order large sums just because. You really only need place orders when a customer is buying something or when your are purchasing something for yourself or some samples. There's no need to keep around a bunch of products that aren't going to get bought so just order when you need to, it's all totally up to u. Yes mark. is owned by Avon and if you sell Avon you can also sell mark. but not the other way around.
