When did you start wearing make up?

  • I am 12 and going to the seventh grade and i am trying to look new and improved. My friends wear make up but some times they just cake it on and i just look at them like " mirrors are avalable! " anyway i asked my mom like "when did you start wearing makeup" we were in the mall and i knew the sephora store was coming up. She said " college " and did not seem like she was going to say anything else. so i left it at that. When did you start putting on make up i mean my mom will not even let me have a simple bottle of lip gloss! and i see these seven year olds with Hannah montana lip gloss and fake make up. I guess she doesnt expect me to wear make up because i have always been more sporty... when did you start/

    I was just like you! :) i'm going into the 8th grade now. But i got to start wearing at 13 in 7th grade. maybe you should write her a little note telling her how you feel. I do that all time it seems to work. Or you could always try talking to her about it. i mean you can't be a little girl forever.

i jus started and im 16 my mom only lets me wear eyemakeup and lipstick but i wear the whole works now. but youre still kinda young you prolly don't need makeup but a little sparkly lipgloss never hurts

When I was 12 I started wearing mascara and a little bit of eyeshadow. Don't wear too much make up until you learn how to apply it. Just start with mascara :)

I would say around like 12 is a good age but go kind of light like some simple eyeliner and lip gloss you just want to enhance what you have not cover up what you don't like I don't suggest using foundation or any of that type of stuff I started at like 13

I started wearing make-up when I was in 7th grade! I started with eyeliner during the end of the summer when I began to start 7th grade. I never really wore a lot of make-up until 8th grade. After 8th grade I added more stuff, like foundation, face powder, blush, etc. If I were you, and want to wear make-up I would start out with eyeliner and mascara once in a while and a simple nude lip gloss color. I think you should tell your mom (about the whole make-up situation) that you're getting older, and you want to get out of your sporty element. You want to experience what wearing make-up is like. Negotiate with her; like if I feel like I do not like wearing the make-up, I'll just stop. Good luck! :)

i started in 7th grade with little things like brown eyeliner, lipgloss, and translucent face powder, and thats basically all i did until college which is when i started really wearing makeup like foundation, blush, eyeshadow, lipstick, etc.

14. wore eyeliner && mascara. :) oh && being 12 i think u should be allowed to wear some mascara and lipgloss. your young so trust me wait until your olderr so when u know how to apply it. i remember in middle school i saw girls with bright blue eyeshadow that looked like clowns so i would wait until highschool to wear the other things! [:
