Lighten eyes with honey??

Alot of you may or may not be familiar with this question. Infact, it has been asked ALOT on yahoo! answers. I am wondering if I can lighten my eyes with diluted honey in water, and if so are there any side effects? Does it hurt? And how long does it take to lighten the eyes? PLEASE DONT ANSWER IF YOU ARE GOING TO SAY "ITS NOT GOING TO WORK.... OR ITS TOO DANGEROUS" Many people use the honey treatment for eye infections and etc. So this question is not for you to answer if you are not going to seriously answer my question. Please research the background of honey and eyes if you want to answer. I really want someone who has actually tried this method. -Im really not trying to be rude but... lately people on yahoo answers are being coo koo. thanks a lot!

i see where it helps pink eye, thats cool,as for lightening the area around the eyes, theres something called, wild ferns ,manuka honet radience, cream. honey has alot of antibacterial properties

Yes you can lighten your eyes with honey. It is not dangerous and it will not hurt. I have tried this so dont worry. A lot of indian people use it to lighten their eyes. It might sting if you use plain honey so follow these instructions: (Do this right before going to bed!) 1.Boil water and honey together and mix. 2.Let it cool for an hour or so. 3.Touch the honey with the tip of your finger and put it on your eye. 4.
