How to lighten blue eyes ?

• Im getting these blue contacts and I thought they would be lighter on my green eyes but they're kinda dark . How do I lighten them to make it look more natural ? Thanks .

  I have blue eyes, yet I don't quite have any good advice on making your eyes appear lighter. But, I would like to give a general option. Perhaps, you could use a white eyeliner pencil only on the inner corners of your eyes. Use the tip to draw along your inner corner in a subtle "v" shape. Be very subtle for this is to reflect light and to be only hinted at. You could substitute this step with using a hint of white eyeshadow on the corner with an embedded glimmer or sheen. Also, my last bit of advice, you could pair this with dark mascara which will contrast against the hue of your eyes. I hope one of these options are helpful. :)
