Best makeup for a redhead?

What is the best brand and color makeup for:?

  • What is the best brand and color makeup for a darkish-redhead with freckles, fair skin, and green/grey eyes? Please, I want informitive answers.

    I dont really think the brand matters... but for the colors, I think different shades of green would look good. green complemnts red hair, and would bring out the green in your eyes. Try Almay's bring out the green eye makeup line, it would suit your eyecolor. For lip color, a soft pink would look great with the green eye makeup. Ive also heard that shimmery makeup on the face compliments freckled skin, but i dont know if that is true or not. Hope this helps.

M.A.C is definitely exceptional in all areas. Eyes shadows, lipstick and lip glass are awesome! However, the foundation and powders have excellent coverage, but clog up your pores. Go to the M.A.C counter in Nordstroms or the M.A.C store.(I have not had the best experience with M.A.C counters in Macy's)

For a fair skinned girl: - You should stay with pastels for your eyes. (light green, light brown, etc.) - For your lips, light colored lipglosses will make you really stand out!

Eyes – Light earth tones and soft pastels such as blue, lavender and pink always look great. Cheeks – Pink and peach are perfect especially if you have blonde hair. [Sorry!] Lashes – Stick to brown or brown/black. Lips – Light, sheer lippie in various shades of pink adds the finishing touch.

I would also recommend MAC, but I would make time to go to a MAC store or department store counter and have a makeover. That way, a MAC representative who knows their line can choose the best colors for you.
