It depends how far your eyes are from each other. If they are close: use black or dark at the outer corners and white or lights colors at the inside. Wash them together. If they are quite far, you can use dark colors at the inside as well. Dark colors make your eyes look smaller and light colors make your eyes look larger, usually.
