Foreign tips to look beautiful?

I look very young for my age? tips please?

  • I am 16 years old, and look 12 years. I still have baby fat on my face and my height doesn't help either [I am only 5 feet!]. I feel this really disadvantages me from doing certain things or interacting with certain people who are older than me. many friends of mine look their age and they get accepted into discos/bars and they hang out with older looking friends, but I would feel extremely self conscious because I would look like a little child near them. any tips on how i can make myself look more mature without making myself look like a drag queen?

    Glasses! I was a young person in a very senior job and wore specs (with plain lenses) for years to make me look older/more grown up. It definitely worked. Whether it works for you depends on your particular look, but it's definitely worth giving it a go. (sadly now I am grown up and look it I also have to wear specs to see - bah!) You might also want to think about your hairstyle. Long and loose hairstyles are synonymous with youth. Shorter, more defined styles are often referred to as 'grown up hair' for the very reason that they make people look more grown up Then it's down to clothes and accessories. Carrying a 'witty' backpack, for eg, is usually something younger people do, where older women will carry a shoulder bag or handbag. Similarly, avoid cartoon t-shirts; baseball boots etc. And heels (they don't have to be high) will make you that little bit taller as well as looking more sophistcated.

When i was younger i was exactly the same. I thought i had a baby face. Have you asked other peoples opinions? Try dressing in more grown up clothes, not child like clohes. Wear make up but not too much

Experiment with your look. I'm 19 and I'm 5ft 3-4 and I get told all the time that I look about 15. I always get ID-ed no matter where I go. Just remind yourself that you look a lot younger, there's gotta be advantages to that. I've sometimes been mistaken for a child getting on buses which means I save money on bus fair :) and it's kinda funny cause when matched with my 20 year old boyfriend people think we're like 15-16 cause we both look really young so it's kinda fun to make a joke of. Just keep trying to alter your look, whether it's smokey eyes or dark lips, and try getting a fringe/bangs, I heard they help make people look older

I dont exactly know how you feel cause im only 13 but i had that problem to i kinda looked 10 yrs old and my eyes were really chinese looking but now i wear makeup and the best way to make someone look older or for people to say "oh ya she looks 16" is to wear quite a bit of eyeliner to really pop your eyesand even do a thick wing with it and with some smokey looking shadow and some mascarea. also if you have baby fat still around your cheeks perhaps go with a brown (NOT PINK) but brownish blush right on the cheek bones and up all the way to your temples and it will make your cheeks look tons more structured and perhaps thinner. hope this helps!!

definately black eye makeup also, a little lipstick wear jeans that fit great & have a good butt straighten your hair and grow it out long if it isn't already smile a bunch! if your too self-concious around friends your age they really WILL think you're younger than you are carry around your cell & a purse or tote if push comes to shove you could stuff too

Start with changing your hair, maybe adding highlites or trimming it a little. little makeup wouldn't hurt, just a small makeover to graduate yourself.

dont worry as long as you dont act 12 youll be fine. But when your older you will look so young. My mom used to be the same when when she was young and now shes 40 something and she looks like shes in mid 30's
