How do you blend correctly?

How can i shade/blend eye shadow without fancy brushes?

  • like if wanted to blend a dark brown with a creme shadow..or silver with charcoal...how can i blend them together to create a dual-tone effect

    you need to find an in between color to put between the two, that is the color that will blend both the real dark and the real light colors together, think of a palette that comes with only 3 colors, those colors are all in the same family but just in different tones, one acts as a highlighter for your brow bone, one acts as a crease definer and the other is the inbetween shade to bring all the colors together.

you wet the eyeshadow a little and then blend on the open space on the compact

if you don't have brushes, you can lightly use your finger. try dabbing and smoothing the color with your ring finger.
