How To Make Your Own Primer?

How to make a homemade eye make up primer?

  • Okay so my eyelids are kind of oily. It's kinda weird, and i kind of have to blot at them throughout the day. Sometimes it removes my makeup and makes it slide off. I've tried using powder, but the oil soaks through it pretty quick. Is there any thing i could mix together to make it stick on or reduce my eyelid oil (haha that sounds so funny)? :)

  • Answer:

Use cornstarch! I like Bare Escentuals Mineral Veil- I put it on before any eye makeup and it keeps it in place. Main ingredient? Cornstarch!

OMG I've been there! Moisturize so they don't get flakey Pat Salt water on lightly Take concealer or compact foundation[the creamy kind] and dab it over the salt water so you don't look ashy. Take your powder over that, Take an opaque matte eye paint, like Paint Pot by MAC, in a neutral color close to your skin, and apply it. Wait for it to set into your eyelid, and apply your makeup,

It may sound weird but Monistat Anti-Chaffing gel works awesome for me.

I spent my entire teen and early 20's not being able to wear any eye shadow because my eye lids were so oily! I started using Bare Escentuals eye shadows and make up and finally I can wear eye shadow! I first put on the foundation, then use the eye shadow and brush mineral veil over them. It lasts all day!
