Long Hair Bad hair cut?

Cut my extra long hair or keep it?

  • I am from China.I am 42 years old and haven't cut my hair for more than 10 years.My hair is almost to my ankles.I keep my hair because of a bad haircut 12 years ago,and I never go to barber shop again after that.Because of the length,I have to put my hair into a large bun every day. Now a foreign guy offer a good price to buy my hair,he want me cut my hair at my neck. My hair has become a part of me.what will I feel if i cut my long hair? will i feel very sorry and very sad after the cut?If i cut it,i wouldn't keep my hair that long again during my life because of my age.Should I cut my hair now to try some short style or just keep it until I am totally tired of all that hair? A lot of girl friends of mine told me that i should sell it,because the long hair was out of fashion.And I can't make the decision.Please give some advice.     I suggest you keep it, it takes ages to grow that hair long and you worked sooo hard to keep it in good condition, I suggest you keep it like that you may want to trim it and feather it at the bottom at home, (if you want) and to stay in fashion just curl it once a while and hold it high on your head so it looks lovely! I suggest you keep it like that, you will feel pretty bad but your not going to get it that long in 2 months after it is gone! x When you start to get uncomfortable you can cut it up to your waste if you want because you can get hot at times with hair like that! Do not give your hair to that man, it will end up being a wig someone could end up wearing in front of you! x Just keep your hair like that and enjoy it not many people have lovely beautiful long hair like yours mine is a mess even look on my profile on one of my questions its all fuzzy! WOW! I thought your hair would be in bad condition but it looks amazing!!you've done a good job! i wouldn't get it cut of because people have suffered TERRIBLE depression from having their hair cut short and some people can't even be bothered to want to live again! If you think it's a part of you then don't let it go for money or whatever! do you know what that foreign man is going to do? he will turn your hair into a wig! i just get disgusted by the thought!also thinking the hair on wigs are really (because it is) is jjust horrid! so i wouldn't cut your hair!! x

You will feel very sad if you cut it. Keep it. Money isn't worth it. Money doesn't last a lifetime, but you hair will. Believe me, forget the money. It's just money.

I would cut it. Long hair like that will make you look older. A cute bob cut would be nice with lots of layers.

If you want to experiment a little just cut off a couple inches like 3 or 4 and see if you want to go further. You shouldn't cut it to your neck because that money he's going pay you will never replace the hair you had before. Do whatever you want though ;)

Nice hair, very beautiful. I would suggest you cut it to an even length to your waist. That guy who's suggesting you cut your hair to the waist sound very suspicious. If i were you i would not listen to him and just keep my hair or cut it to the waist and give the rest to cancer groups to make into wigs.
