How long should your hair be to use two boxes of hair dye?

  • My hair isn't REALLY long, but it's probably four inches past my collar-bone. Normally I wouldn't care if I didn't have exactly enough because I usually just touch up my roots, but I've been dying my hair progressively darker and darker from the original color, so if I didn't have enough it wouldn't be good lol. I just wanna know how long your hair should be to use two boxes...before I run out and spend another $14 on another box. :) Thanks.

    MY hair's about 4-5 inches away from my waist and I have to use two boxes. My hair's pretty thick though. When I use to get it professionally done they would charge me double because I always used up double the product lol. If your hair's pretty thick then I would get two. Just don't open it if your not sure so you can always take it back if you don't need it.

UR HAIR CAN BE SHORT BUT NOT AS SHORT....BUT IT CAN BE SHORT, JUST MAKE SURE ITS NOT BALD...IF YOU USE 2 BOXES OF DYE USE THEM IN TWO AREAS DONT DYE THE SAME AREA TWICE IT WILL TAKE YOUR HAIR OUT BAD....

i would say your hair would have to be very long for that. possibly 2 feet long.
