What are the longest lasting Henna Tattoos?

Can hair henna be used for tattoos?

• I got a packet of hair henna for a friend of mine a while ago - it was supposed to be a gift, because she'd longed to become a redhead for a very long time. But the day before us meeting up and me giving her the present, I get a call from my friend: "Guess what! I just dyed my hair red!". So basically, I was stuck with the hair henna I don't intend to use on myself :|. Now my question is: could I use this henna for tattoos? Even though it's distributed as hair henna, can it still be used for temporary tats?   i've already tried using black henna to darken my faded henna tattoo. its a brand maid from india.. i bought it since its the only henna i found in the store. but it didnt really darken my faded tat that much so i asked a friend who is a tattoo artist.. he said he was using hair color powder for henna tatts. did try one, and it worked for me.
