How do I make my hair wavy?

  • I have straight-ish hair but it's always been more on the wavy side. I don't like straightening my hair too much, so I feel like keeping it wavy is more healthy. Thing is my hair isn't that wavy, so I'm wondering how can i make it more wavy? Is there is certain haircut i can get to make it wavier? Any tips on how to enchance my waves to make them more defined and pretty?

  • Answer:

    - Try making 1 or 2 braids in your hair (depending on how large/small you want the waves less braids will mean looser waves) - Use a wave/curl defining mousse or gel - Try a curl defining shampoo and conditioner aswell (even if you have waves it should be okay) - When coming out of the shower twist a section of hair and wrap it around into a bun, do as many buns as you like.

layers in your hair helps. get some wave creme from a drugstore and put it in your hair when its wet and scrunch it with some gel as best you can. put it in a messy bun on top of your head and blow dry it/air dry it almost all the way and then take it out and hair spray it.

ammm well when your hair get's wet it might go wavy or maybe when yur using a curler you might only curl it a bit and it might go back to straight but it might go wavy! i hope :)

And I can relate 'cause my hair is pretty naturally straight but it could use a cut to be healthier and it just seems easier to put it up in a bun. I like the idea of just waking up and it looks good, being able to make it straighter since it's already there with no heat.

Get it wet, after it dries to where you want your curls, use g2b hairspray and it will stay. I have semi-straight/wavy hair. its curly/wavy till it dries then it kinda goes flat and poofy
