How to get loose curls?

How can I get those loose curls?

  • I really like the loose curls, my hair is a couple of inches past my shoulders, layered and is neither thick or thin its in-between. Its naturally straight and when i curl my hair I get awful little bo peep curls, My hair holds a curl ok, but i cant get those loose curls! What do i need to do? Ive tried all sorts of products!

    Well if your'e going somewhere when you want to do it then a couple of hours before curl your hair with a fat curling iron like 1 1/2" or 1 1/4" (do your whole head) and then spray it lightly with hairspray and let it set right before you leave use your finger or the handle of a thin comb and go right through the middle of some of the curls so they can bounce around everywhere and look natural!

you can spray your hair with curling spray..then get big big rolers and put them in your hair..let them set for about 20 minutes and voila...big bouncy curls you want.

Curling iron. Try Chi ceramic one. Also, depending on the length of your hair, you should choose the thicker ones like 1 1/2 inch barrel.

Use your hair straightener, but it doesnt work with all types of straightener. Take a small section of hair clamp it at the bottom of your hair and slowly curl it upwards. You just hold it for a couple of seconds and just use hair spray to finish! if all else fails - messy bun!

I know the PERFECT thing! I bought these long twist-flex rods at a beauty shop one day, at the advice of a friend, and they're awesome. I can't rave about them enough. You just twist them through your hair, winding your hair around the rod, and leave them on for 1-2 hours, while going about your day as usual. When you take them out, you'll have the most beautiful curls. If you want them to be really loose, you take a wide-toothed comb, and gently comb through your hair. It's picture-perfect! curl your hair in small sections then run your fingers throw them and spray with hair spray ad tada the next ????
