Are Special Effects hair dyes available in Frankfurt?

What is the best method for removing the MOST hair dye from my hair ( now blue) so that I can redye?

  • Please help if you can! :) I have been dyeing my hair blue for around a year. I used a mixture of manic panic and special effects last time. It tends to fade enough to need fixing, but never quite leave enough for me to change colors. I have tried the "put a small amount of bleaching kit mixture into shampoo and watch it come right out" method... and it does not budge much. When we have touched up my roots with bleach we have bleached "hunks" of hair throughout my head, and get a light dingy turquoise at best.. My hair is a natural dark blonde. We have bleached it quite a bit, but I don't want to totally fry my hair out! I know that I have seen some folks who change color quite frequently on flickr and it seems like they go back to clear white/light blonde easily and after not too much time between dyes. I really appreciate any help you can give. Thanks so much, Bluehead :)

  • Answer:

It sounds to me like your hair is to porous and the blue has deeply penetrated your hair to permanently stain your hair. If you really want to change color I would recommend starting with a purple since it's in the same family as blue. Manic panic a a purple called purple haze and it has a pink/ red base to it so it will help you be able to move to other colors. http://www.manicpanic.com/besthaircolor/purplehaze.html I hope this helps.
