How do you cut right to the next scene on a video?

Can the people at The Last Tangle probably cut scene hair right?

• I want a scene haircut, but I suck at cutting hair and my dad won't let my friend cut my hair because it's obvious that it wasn't cut by a professional. I told him it's SUPPOSED to be choppy, but I don't think he believes me. He says I have to get it cut by a professional. There's a hair salon called The Last Tangle that has a few blog posts about scene hair. Are they more likely to actually get it right than other hair salons? I guess if they don't I'll just have my friend fix it, but I wanna know if they'll get it right in advance so I can plan this with my friend.

  i am not sure wat salon is that but u should try this tutorial :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4J4MAkp4xPk but to get shoppy layers. instead of cutting 1 inch then 1 inch then 1 inch. try cutting 1 inch then 2 inches then 3 inches. but make sure ur hair is long enough. and most of all make sure u plan how much u want to cut.
