How to make your hair very silky and soft?

  • I have straight, medium thick, auburn/brown hair that comes down about 2-3 inches past my shoulder. I have been using Redken "All Soft" and "Smooth Down" Shampoo and Conditioner for about...the past year and yet it doesn't do anything besides clean my hair. My friend's hair is always silky smooth and soft and she just uses random hair products that her mother buys. Is there anything that will make my hair really silky and soft? Any hope? :)

    OMG! you sooo gotta use products by Aussie! If you want silky and smooth hair i suggest you use Aussie's sydney smooth collection! when conditioning your hair leave it in while you wash your body or something. then after drying put hair serum in it

your problem is that ur using the same shanpoo you need to switch every bottle even if u just switch between two dont use the same kind two bottles in a row i suggest granier long and strong its really nice

some peoples hair is really silky, and others arent. personally mine isnt very shiny, but i started using this sunsilk therma shine conditioner that seems to help a little.

just dont use as much shampoo and a lot of conitioner and see what your friend is using or just might have odd hair

i once have 40 bottles of shampoo. i was looking for one that would make my hair soft and smooth and silky. i was so surprised what i found that works so great. it is new by SUAVE. $2.00 REALLY. IT IS CALLED SLEEK IT COMES IN SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER. I LOVE IT. it comes in an orange bottle. try it. it you dont like it, you have not lost that much, but I really think you will like it. ( i have really thick hair)

After you shampoo try a cool vinegar wash to make it shiny. And add some honey to your conditoner, to make it soft.
