How To Style Shy Scene Hair?

How can i ask my hairdresser to style my hair "scene"? help?

• ok im not scene, but i like they're style. i love how they style their hair too but i rather get mines done at a salon. i wanted extensions added because i don't think it will look right with the regular length of my hair ( it goes to the middle of my neck). so i was wondering if my hairdresser will be be able to do it as if she's doing an "invisible part hairstyle" or something idk. help??

  I know what you mean: Scenesters hair is very popular and is quite creative. For the extensions it shouldn't be a problem. Generally scenesters like to make their hair pin straight with a flat iron or straightner so be sure to get extensions that are heat aproved (go for natural hair). For the top part of the head or the general scene hairstyle just bring a photo reference for your hairdresser. If you do know someone who is Emo/Scene ask them advice before getting your hair done. Ask them how long it takes to style and what products to use. When going for a scene/emo look remember these things: 1) Side bangs. Start them at the farthest extreme possible. If you have a cowlick in your hair this can be tough...If you happen to have two cowlicks durectly above both ears opt for a fringe or cropped bang. NEVER straighten a cowling without professional advice because it can cause the hair to stand up straight. 2) Tease your hair. Teasing your hair will give you the scene effect immedietley and lift the hair off the roots to make your hair look more volumized. 3) Color. Generally scene girls have bleach blonde hair or black hair with a variety of different colored streaks.
