How to get big loose curls?

  • I want to get gorgeous big loose curls in my hair like the hollywood stars do, i have tried plaits in damp hair and twisting them when damp but they dont work, it makes the curls too tight does anybody have any other methods of achieving what i want?

    I go for the curl look when im goin out and i use large barrelled culing tongs.Wash your hair and dry,section hair accross the bottom take piece of hair spray with L'oreal hot curls(makes the curl last longer and protects the hair)wrap the hair around the tongs hold in place for few seconds the release.Do not touch or mess with curls untill you hae done all of your hair.Then run your fingers through add some hairspray and walla gorgoeus curls.

you need to use either rollers (which is a bit irritating)then loosen the curls with ur fingers or use a really fat curling tong (the fatter it is the bigger the curl)

blow dry with a little mousse - roll sections of your hair up in hot rollers tightly - wait twenty minutes - unroll hair but do not brush through - let your curls set a few minutes then finger through your hair

This WILL work if you have wavy hair. When you come out of the shower, comb through an anti-frizz treatment like Neutrogena Triple Moisture Silk Touch Leave-In Cream. Then scrunch mousse into your hair (I like Pantene Pro-V Curl Defining Scrunching Mousse). Follow-up by scrunching hair with a towel (will also help speed-up drying). Then leave your hair alone– do not brush or dry. Just allow to air dry and voila! natural-looking curls :)

start with clean ,wet hair,,,, roll/twist your hair up to the top of your head,,,, then tie a piece of string or yarn around the curl ,,,,,, let it dry ,,,, then untie and go.....

Run some moose through damp hair and curl it with either a larger barreled curling iron or hot rollers. It may take a little while if you are not accustomed to curling your hair, but it should work. I gave this advice to another girl and she said it worked like a charm. Hope this helps.
