How do I get 360 waves in my hair/How long will it take to get them?

  • I have waves at the top of my hair but not on the sides. So how do I get 360?

  • Answer:

How to Get 360 Waves Do you want 360 waves this is how. Look below for instructions. Steps 1. Get any good quality type of brush. Usually two or three types of brushes are needed while growing your hair out. If you are starting out with short hair, a soft brush will be needed. Using a hard brush at this time may cause cuts or sores on you scalp, and these cuts can become hard to treat and may become infected after adding your pomade and/or moisturizer. As your hair grows make the change to a medium to hard bristle brush handle the increased volume of hair. 2. Brush your hair for about 60 minutes a day and put on a du-rag or wave cap when not brushing. 3. Brush in a moisturizer like carrot creme, olive oil or pink lotion. 4. Brush in a pomade like Dax, SeaSick, Sportin Waves, 360 wave pomade, ect... 5. Repeat until you see results and keep brushing. Optional * Invest in a holding creme. Holding cremes helps hold your existing wave pattern into place. * Buy a brush with no handle. These brushes give you more control while brushing than handled brushes do. * Take time to look at wave forums and don't be scared to ask people that have waves or your barber how to improve your waves. * Experiment with different methods of brushing, pomades, moisturizers and holding cremes. When you find something that works for you, stick to it. Tips * IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO BRUSH YOUR HAIR TOO MUCH! BRUSH YOUR HAIR WHENEVER YOU HAVE A CHANCE. * Try not to change the pattern of how you brush your hair. Keep the pattern consistent and brush with the grain of your hair. Never brush against your waves. * Remember brushing is the key, pomades only define the waves that you "already" have from brushing. * Wolf or grow your hair out for about 3 weeks minimum or longer to get your waves nice and deep. * Keep your hair moisturized or use the h20 method (spray water in your hair and brush dry repeat) to keep hair from drying out. Moisturized hair is soft hair and is easier to manage and wave. * Shampoo every other day to keep your hair nice and healthy. * After you get out of the shower, either comb or brush your hair dry. Make sure to comb or brush with the same brushing pattern you perform regularly. * Cold water makes hair easier to wave. * When putting on a du-rag or stocking cap, run it under cold water. This helps keep the moisture on the hair. * Use a soft brush to get your waves connecting and for straightening them. * Remember you can't get waves overnight. With time and dedication you should be spinning in no time. * Its good to brush your hair in the shower while the conditioner is still in. * Make sure to get regular lines from your barber every week. The lines will help draw attention to your waves. Also have the barber shape your hair up. This will help any stubborn hairs lay in grain. * use womens stockings for keeping hair flat on head Warnings * Some products are flammable so be careful. * Don't put to much grease, it can clog up and damaged your hair ad scalp. * Don't get hair cut below wave level especially if hairs not trained. If your hair isn't trained yet, get like a #2 guard with the grain. And if it is trained you can get a 1 1/2 or whatever you like with or without the grain. Things You'll Need * Good quality brushes * Patience * Dedication * Du-rag and/or wave/stocking cap * Moisturizer such as Carrot Creme, Olive oil, or Pink lotion. * Pomade such as Dax, SeaSick, Sportin' Waves, etc... * A good shampoo or conditioner that does not dry your hair out Hope this helped!!Good luck!!!!

Brush your hair constantly...when you wash it don't scrub it...use a brush to brush the shampoo or conditioner through your hair in the proper direction...wear your wave cap at night and around the house as much as possible...try not to be too ghetto and wear it in public that much ;-)
