How can you tell if someone is jealous of your hair?

• I sometimes think that my dad is always being sarcastic about my hair considering he's so obsessed with getting it cut. It even comes to mind that the only reason he's so focused on my hair is because he is jealous of it? I'm 20 years old by the way, and he always tells me that I have "Good hair" which I have no clue what that means. I think everyone has good hair, but just different hair textures and styles, but god made everyone's hair beautiful. Also, my family the other day instead on concentrating on Thanksgiving, they were concentrating on my hair, and constantly asked me when am I getting it cut? I'm like damn! What is up with this family and hair cuts? :/

  Maybe your dad secretly wants to be a hairdresser?! Or just trying to make an attempt to start a conversation, and that's all he can think of. It's like my family, originally from East-Asia and all they talk about if food.
