What is the best hair dryer under $50?

How do you girls keep your hair so shiny, smooth, and soft?

  • Hi there girls, I have medium length hair, but no matter what kind of shampoo and conditioner I use, my hair always ends up dry and coarse feeling, and I use conditioner every day in the morning and let it soak into my hair for a few minutes, but I never come out with shiny, smooth, silky hair like I've seen a lot of girls who know how to keep their hair. What is your secret? Is there something I'm missing, or us guys are missing as a whole? The only thing I think that might be different is that I towel dry and rub my hair dry, while I've seen some girls leave their hair wet to air dry over a long time. I've tried using a hair dryer but that also makes my hair dry and coarse feeling. Maybe I need to buy those premium salon shampoos and conditioners? You know those beauty salons that charge $50 for a haircut, ugh. Anyway, yea, so what tips or secrets can you share with me? I'd like shiny, smooth, and silky hair like the rest of you gals or other male celebs with long hair-Tom Cruise

as much as possible, don't use hair products or don't blow dry and style hair too often. go for a hair treatment (i go for protein treatments) every month or two. and use a good conditioner! (i use pantene total care).

just a tip, never rub your hair with towels; just blot them. rubbing can damage your hair. and about your dry and coarse hair, maybe you have another problem? I have always believed that if a person has healthy hair, chances are, so is he. and no, i don't think you need to buy those shampoos from salons. well, many people say I have beautiful hair and I guess it's because of this routine I do: - wet your hair with warm water - shampoo your hair (for girls who have long hair never put your hair up while shampooing because it prevents the bubbles from getting to your scalp). - rinse with warm water - use conditioner and wait for a few minutes (if you have tangled hair comb it while you still have conditioner on). - rinse with cold water - blot your hair with a towel. - use a wide-toothed comb (never use a brush when your hair is wet). that's about it. hope it helps :D

Use a Moisturizing Shampoo and conditioner.. Maybe do a deep conditioning a couple times a week. Also, to make my hair silky and shiny i use a flat iron on my hair (b4 straightening i apply biosilk silk therapy) Hope this helps. =) it helps me!

My husband uses Crew hair products. He has the same problems as you. Plus Crew smells WONDERFUL!!! If you need to add a little gloss to the ends, you can try Frizz Ease or Paul Mitchell Gloss Drops. (don't put near the roots or hair will look greasy)

Hmm. It doesn't matter what shampoo or conditioner I use..When I blow dry and straighten my hair, it always looks silky and shiny. Maybe you should try that. And kudos to you for being the only guy I've ever seen worried about his hair. ;)

oil. I use fructis hair serum...it's grapeseed oil. It makes my hair really shiney and smooth. Just wash your hair and after you dry it, put some of the oil on it. Use a little oil, too much will give you the greasies. Olive oil actually works too... I also use cheap shampoo and conditioner...the oil is such a lifesaver!
