What is the emergency weather radio station for the Niagara St. Catharine's area of Ontario?
-
I work security and it is my job for when bad weather is comming to monitor and keep the client up-to-the-minute with the weather if emergency weather is comming. I have signed up for the Emergency weather SMS from theweathernetwork.com but that only gives me a warning. I need the local Radio station to listen to in case of emergency weather. Does anyone know where to find or know the St. Catharines/Niagara Emergency Weather radio station? Thanks in advance. roof_top_eagle

Answer:
You will need a weather radio. Tone alert type with battery backup is best. The St. Catharine area is covered by station VAD 320 on 162.475 MHz. I believe the transmitter is located in Thorold.
