Why does ur nose run when its cold outside??

  • so lately its been COLD out. and i was thinking, EVERYTIME someone goes outside in cold weather, and run around...their nose just about ALWAYS runs. why? im just curious. Thanx yall!! God Bless♥

  • Answer:

This is just a guess, but I think when your membranes are exposed to cold air they contract and lose their ability to hold in liquid, so it comes out your nose.
