• Have you ever experienced a hurricane? I need hurricane experiences for my science project. I need hurricane interviews about people's experiences with hurricanes. i don't know anybody that went through a hurricane so please help me by answering the questions if u been through a hurricane and please don't be inappropriate, there's no need for that here! 1. what hurricane did you experience? 2. where were you? 3. When did you experience this hurricane? 4. What was your experience like? how did you feel? how did it affect you or your family in anyway? did it cause you any damages? How did you feel during and after the hurricane? What did you do during the hurricane? Did you prepare for it? please be as descriptive as possible for all your answers especially for number 4.

  1) Floyd, Isabel, Irene 2) Va Beach 3) 1999, 2003, 2011 4) Floyd was catastrophic in terms of flooding. Where I lived was under 3 feet of water, but that wasn't the worst of it. Franklin, VA had water up to 2 story roofs. People had to be rescued on top of their roofs. That was the worst hurricane that I have experienced in terms of rain. Isabel was bad in terms of wind. We lost power for 2 weeks, and several trees were down and houses damaged. That was the worst hurricane that I have experienced in terms of wind. Irene was not too bad, but it was a weak hurricane. I didn't even lose power in Va Beach, but I know a lot of people nearby lost power for about a week, and had several trees down and houses damaged, but it wasn't as bad as Isabel or Floyd. The hardest part is being without power.
