If you have a strong snow machine, is it possigle to make snow in warm weather?

In order to make snow from your home water supply (at about 50°F), it must be cooled very rapidly. Four things come into play to make this happen: ambient temperatures, evaporation, surface area, super cooling. There are a number of varibales to consider when making snow, including temperature and humidity in the air, and water temperature. The relationship between temperature and humidity is called Wet bulb Temperature. Both Temperature and Humidity must be low enough for snowmaking (usually at least 32 degrees Fahrenheit). For water temperature, very simply put the colder the better. Commercial snow makers at ski areas typically use water from ponds, this water temperature is usually from 34 to 40 degreees Fahrenheit. Of course you could skip the hassle and just hit the slopes, as there are still ski areas open in North America including Timberline Lodge, Ore. and Whistler-Blackcomb, B.C.

There's nothing that says a snow machine won't work in warm weather, but the snow is sure to start melting quickly if the weather is that warm.
