What is Global Dimming?

Why always we discuss on global warming, but never to think of global dimming?

• if there is the existence of global warming, we should not forget that there is decrease in temperature. can we say that decrease in temperature is not affected by the earth. remember decrease in temperature causes the freezing of the ocean, formation of iceberg and host of the rest.

  Although global warming from human and natural causes is a cause for interest and perhaps concern, long term evidence from core samples suggest normal heating and cooling cycles of 100,000 years. We must allow for anomalies in temperatures and not forget the recent mini ice ages of 1650, 1770 and 1850AD. A 2005 November 30 National Geographic report found a 30% decrease in the flow of warm ocean currents to northwest Europe indicating that another mini ice age may be due within the next 50-100 years. Milankovitch cycles would indicate another ice age sometime in the next 50,000 - 100,000 years.
